The Movie Colony--Palm Springs, California

The Movie Colony, got its name from the many movie stars living here. A neighborhood association was formed in about 1991 and has gone through various periods of activity. In 2004 it was reactivated and organized to conform to the new city ordinance governing Neighborhood Organizations. The Palm Springs Board of Realtors has long used the boundaries of Alejo on the South, Avenida Cabelleros on the East, Tachevah on the North, and Indian Canyon Drive on the West as the boundaries of The Movie Colony.

This map, drawn in 2004 by Warren Weber, shows the locations of various celebrities, that have been verified in the book by Howard Johns, Palm Springs Confidential, published in 2004.
